Leaf Art: Paper Cutouts
It’s fun to creatively engage with Fall leaves!
Beyond marveling at their beauty or collecting them for inside adornment, there are more simple ways that leaves can inspire beautiful creations.
For instance, you can trace a leaf onto paper and cut them out.
I used magazine pages here, but wrapping paper, scrap paper, book pages, or old greeting cards would all work beautifully.
Once you’ve cut out all of your leaves, you can arrange them in collages.
Take your time to play with different compositions until you arrive at a resolution that feels exciting and pleasing to you.
Once everything is glued down, you can leave your collage as is, draw or paint into the negative spaces, or add different cutouts or paper scraps to continue to build your collage.
Okay, that’s my last leaf art technique. I hope you enjoyed these posts, and I hope you give some of them a try!
