Leaf Art: Painting ON Leaves

It’s fun to creatively engage with Fall leaves!

Beyond marveling at their beauty or collecting them for inside adornment, there are more simple ways that leaves can inspire beautiful creations.

For instance, you can paint directly onto leaves! 

What to paint? Try patterns like dots and lines, or perhaps you want to write a love letter or a poem onto a leaf?

Once painted, you can adorn your fall tablescape or altar with them, or you can spray them with a varnish to preserve them beyond one season.

I used acrylic paint here, and I like the simplicity of white on brown.
