Cornelian Cherry Jelly
Okay, Part 2 of the cornelian cherries saga continues with homemade jelly.
This jelly, which Patrick made with a hefty amount of lemon juice, is just delicious! It’s tart and bright and lovely on buttermilk biscuits or as a topper on a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
On that last note, I have had ice cream on my brain lately. I want to make new flavors with home grown fruits, and so, we ordered an ice cream maker! I am giddy!
Will there be a cornelian cherry ice cream in our future? I sure hope so!
