A True Story
Oftentimes, the deer like to play with the rope of our tree swing. They nudge it with their noses.
It’s real, prime time exciting stuff!
The other day, one of them climbed through the loop and got momentarily stuck.
For a split second I imagined how I was going to unhook the deer from the rope. I pictured myself wrapping my arms around the furry girth of the deer and hoisting with my knees.
But thankfully, the deer figured it out and freed itself!
No harm was done, but the deer did leave behind white belly hair on the rope. So strange!
Today, I finally got around to replacing the board for the swing. Now people can be the ones to play!
