What’s Coming Up?
What’s coming up in the yards, gardens, and parks near you?
It’s so good to see some familiar flower faces, and it’s disappointing when some old friends don’t return. And of course, there are the weeds reminding us of the value of persistence.
We’ve been busy building beds out of fallen trees in our forest garden which we’ve seeded (kind of late to the game) and transplanted some perennials as well. My gardening mindset is still pretty young, and I’m slowly learning that this gardening thing is a slow process that literally takes seasons to refine.
There’s so much to learn as people, plants, animals, insects, sun, and soil get to know one another trying to figure out the best configurations for full flourishing.
How are you flourishing as Summer approaches?
