Summer Solstice

Happy Summer Solstice!
Today we reflect on what is coming into fruition within and around us.
What is growing in our hearts, our families, our gardens, our yards, our communities, our minds, and in our nations?
Here are some things that are growing in and around me: my kids, my rage, my passion, my hope, garden sweet peas, that spindly faun, the humidity, invasive honeysuckle, my mosquito bites, my courage, my affinity for broccoli, my appreciation for people doing difficult work, my unrest, my fear, my desire to slow down, my reading list, and my wish that this Summer be the Summer that we say it all changed.
