Herbie the Naturalist

Herbie the Naturalist

My nephew Herbie is a joy! I love seeing the world through his eyes, especially since he is a keen observer of nature. He relates to plants, animals, stars, and the sky in such a beautiful and curious way. He is just really good at

Drying Garlic AKA Vampire Protection

Drying Garlic AKA Vampire Protection

This week Pat harvested the garlic and hung it to dry. We will eat most of it and plant the rest in October.  Right now the garlic bundle hangs on the patio overhang where it can stay dry with plenty of air circulating around it.
