Noticing Nature Practice: June 7

Noticing Nature Practice: June 7

Today’s prompt, which has extra layers of meaning for me these days:

What color do you notice today?

Today, I am noticing my own internal whiteness (and my epidermal whiteness which is polka dotted with itchy, red mosquito bites.) Both the internal and the external whiteness feel uncomfortable. That’s okay.

I am looking forward to opening up to this day – to seeing its vibrancy – its rainbows – to see what colors it offers me – the purple and pink peonies – the lush greens – blue skies – yellow bumble bees  – – – – that’s a place to start.

I’m very grateful for being alive.
