June’s Noticing Nature: June 3

June’s Noticing Nature: June 3

When I am feeling particularly depressed, stressed, and anxious, I offer my sadness to nature, and nature is always there for me.

Everyday nature quite literally feeds us with the food we eat and the water we drink, but nature also feeds our souls. Nature heals us. Nature reminds us that we are all connected and that when we take care of one another – when we make room for each other to flourish – when we weed out the harmful practices – we all grow. It’ s only then, that we can truly live!

Let’s feed on another. Let’s unlearn harmful practices, and let’s look to nature for comfort, sustenance, and for learning how to be.

Today’s Noticing Nature Prompt: Taste something grown by you or near you – an herb from the garden, a market veggie, or local honey.

Give thanks!
