Going Inside
I just spent the morning moving my office/studio/sewing room BACK into the office, which the kids unoccupied yesterday, when they took their computers into their respective bedrooms.
It always feels good to change things up in the house – especially in Winter.
During Winter we spend more time inside our physical houses but also emotionally within our own selves as we contemplate our lives and how we want to be living them.
It’s a fertile time in this darkness – even though it may not seem that way. We are sunken seeds, fern rhizomes, and jonquil bulbs making the necessary preparations for Spring. We are whole, we are sacred, and we are quiet.
Enjoy your time inside this winter – physically and metaphorically! Enjoy the darkness, too. It exists to blanket your dreams in possibility!
