Gathering Woolgathering into the Future
Here I am struggling to pose for a picture while holding the complete set of the 2021 Issues of Woolgathering, Spring Bird’s quarterly publication about our deep connection to nature.
I have been publishing Woolgathering for 5 years and am about to begin my 6th year with the Spring 2022 issue – to be released in March!
I can’t believe how this project has evolved – I especially appreciated all of the contributing writers and illustrators.
While I am not for certain (not 100%) I’m thinking that this year will be the last that Woolgathering will be offered in print form. It is time for Woolgathering to evolve once more and will likely exist in a digital capacity starting in 2023.
So, if you have always been interested in Woolgathering – the print magazine, now is the time to subscribe!
Other ways to enjoy Woolgathering – listen to its fiction podcast which is also titled Woolgathering.
Season 2 will be wrapping up on February 3rd. You may wish to get caught up on Sweetheart the bunny and her bird friends Me Chickadee and Rosy Robin before that story concludes. It’s a happy ending – I promise. I will also be reading my last haiku, which I know you will miss greatly – for they have been some of the best writing the English language has to offer.
But fear not, Season 3 of the Woolgathering Podcast will begin shortly after the conclusion of Season 2 (funny how that happens), and I will be sharing a larger work of fiction – a novel that I wrote in 2020. More on that later!
