Garden Booms and Busts

Here are some drawings of things that we have been harvesting from our gardens this Summer.

We’ve had SO many green beans. It’s been a bean bonanza! 

Last year there were so many cucumbers and chile peppers.

It’s interesting to see what is a boom and what is bust year to year.

Also curious is that I have drawn three things named cherry (cornelian cherry, cherry tomatoes, and ground cherries) that are not actually cherries. 

Ground cherries are the absolute sweetest little fruits. I wouldn’t mind a boom of those next year!
