Full Moon: Play With Juncos

Happy Full Moon!

This moon, I celebrate one of my most favorite birds ever! It’s the Junco or Snow Bird. These sweet babies have dark feathers and white bellies that look like they’ve dipped themselves in snow. Plus they make the loveliest footprints on my patio that beckon me outside to play.

So that is what I embroidered – Play! 

It snowed a tiny bit overnight – just enough to frost some branches and tabletops, and there was a playful group of juncos on my patio to greet me this morning. Joy!
