Leaf Art: Cyanotype

It’s fun to creatively engage with Fall leaves!

Beyond marveling at their beauty or collecting them for inside adornment, there are more simple ways that leaves can inspire beautiful creations.

For instance, you can make sun prints or cyanotype prints using leaves and cyanotype paper!

That’s what I did here. I printed three leaves on a piece of paper, and then I incorporated that print into my sketchbook. Of course I took to the multimedia – painting with acrylic, watercolor, and posca pens. 

I love the beauty of shades of blue!!!!
