Happy Lunar New Year
Happy Lunar New Year!
To honor the new year, I wanted to share the completion of all 12 “bird – moon” quilt squares from 2021.
In upcoming weeks, I will assemble them together, and then what?
I’m thinking about a few options:
raffling off the finished quilt for charity
or making the quilt a cozy addition to the cottage
OR keep sewing new squares to add to this chunk.
I even had the idea of making a monthly, story quilt square that illustrates something from that month – not moon or bird related – as a way to keep a history of our lives – a fabric archive.
I think I’m perpetually obsessed with marking time in all sorts of ways. Perhaps it would be a sort of quilt calendar?
What do you think I should do with this bird/moon quilt?
And again, Happy Lunar New Year!
