Ancestral Support
In her book “The Wreckage of My Presence,” Casey Wilson shared a message she had received from the beyond about our loved ones who have died. I’m paraphrasing. but it was something to the effect of, “The dead are okay, it’s the living who are suffering.” We, the living, are the ones grieving, missing, hurting, and struggling. The dead are doing quite well.
And one thing that lights me up is to believe that the dead are still with us. They are energy near us and close at hand. I believe that they want to be of assistance. So, why not take them up on the offer!?
I’ve been feeling my Grandma Lentz with me a lot lately. She lived with us for about ten years after becoming blind. She was so gracious in receiving support and help from us – so that she could perform everyday tasks and functions. I very much struggle asking for help – wanting to be independent at all costs – even if it means costing my own success or wellbeing! It’s so silly! Anyway, I’ve been asking Grandma for help, and I truly feel her at my side guiding me as we used to do for her.
In summation, ask our ancestors for help, and go read Casey Wilson’s book “The Wreckage of my Presence” — particularly if you have lost someone close to you. This book will have you in tears for all of the right reasons.
